Irresponsible people.

I’m sure you have encountered one of two of these people in your life so far.  I’ve encountered a lot so far.

First of all, if you were elected to be a leader, be one.  So them that you won’t waste your position on being passive.  Please, if you have no intention of being who you were chosen to be, you should just decline the position the minute you were nominated.  Seriously.  People are counting on you.  They need you to help and be active, so that everything will go smoothly.

All the more reason if you volunteer to be a leader.  If you actually volunteered yourself to be the head of some committee, make sure you really act as the head.  Do not just wait for the president of vice - president of the club or whatever to tell you what to do.  Work on initiative.  Come on, if you go to the university you go to, you’re supposed to have some initiative.  Do not just wait for someone to tell you what to do.  Do something you think you need to do.  Please.

Another thing, when the president or vice - president of whatever organization you’re in tells you to do something.  Fucking do it.  Don’t fail, please.  I mean, if you were given one simple itty, bitty task, do it.  Don’t ask for help.  Don’t report back to your superiors with every little problem you encounter and ask for their help, or ask them to do it for you.  And another thing!  Please understand what you’re doing.  Do not confuse your superiors with nonsense information that has no relevance whatsoever to the job at hand, and actually is very wrong.  If you’re confused about the task, verify.  Don’t just think that everything’s gonna be okay if you don’t know all the facts.  That’s just dumb.  If you have to do something, just be sure you know what you’re doing.

Another thing, DO NOT WASTE TIME.  It is very useless for you to be a leader if you can’t do shit.  Please be considerate of others.  Other people are actually doing all the work and being stressed and all, while you’re there not even contributing anything.

Please, everyone who might read this, avoid being irresponsible.  This attitude will not be tolerated in the real world.
